“ I love City Lights. That’s why I came back for five years. Even when I outgrew the classes age-wise I decided to come back as an intern and will be the intern to the teaching artist in Junior Acting Ensemble. I have a lot of friends that I met in City Lights that are still my friends today. Long lasting friendships. I’m going to be a doctor someday. The skills I learned at City Lights have made it easy for me to talk to people. I was able to open up on stage and now I have no problem giving a speech in a class. In fact, I’m the usually the first person to volunteer.
Julius Gordils,
5 year scholarship student turned teaching artist intern.
