“For four years now, City Lights Youth Theatre has played a pivotal part in my life. It has served as an outlet for all of my creative energies, allowing me to bring parts of myself to all of my performances. City Lights has been a place where I can be comfortable with myself and can always look forward to going.”

- Kyle-Steven Porter, scholarship student

In-School Program

The In-School Drama Immersion Program provides direct arts-in-education services to students and teachers in public, private, and parochial schools through theatre arts residencies and professional development partnerships. City Lights' teaching artists work closely with teachers to design a series of activities that integrate theatre arts and playwriting into the class curriculum. For more information on how to create a school partnership with City Lights, contact Education Director at education@clyouththeatre.org.
