Summer Program

The 2008 Origins Project is pleased to announce its partnership with Ellis Island Immigration Museum ! There is no better location where City Lights students can celebrate NYC , since Ellis Island served as the gateway for many immigrants to create the melting pot that is New York City. Applications are being accepted now. The program runs from July 7 - August 9.

Core Program

The Core Program provides age-appropriate classes in acting, musical theatre and playwriting in an after-school and weekend workshop format.  Students perform in a season of productions produced in a variety of venues, including our on-site Studio Theatre.  City Lights guarantees that at least 50% of our students receive need-based financial aid through City Lights Scholarship Fund.
