What’s black and white, and red all over? In the case of Chanel Beauty, it’s not a newspaper, or even a sunburned penguin. It’s the new N°1 De Chanel Rich Revitalizing Cream, the Rouge Allure Velvet, and the Allure Homme collection for men. With hints of black, white, and red in all three products from the product themselves and to the packaging that encases them, these three colors enrich these groundbreaking beauty products.

N°1 De Chanel Rich Revitalizing Cream

Camellia ceramides really protects the skin from drying out. The Camelia extract and ceramideNP is an intense element that keeps moisture in, leaving the skin feeling supple. Chanel Research developed the new N°1 De Chanel Rich Revitalizing Cream, a 100 percent natural product that anti ages and cements in the epidermis, preventing from water loss.

“The red camellia is a fleshy, dense, and radiant flower. Winter never takes it by surprise. It emerges when the weather turns bitterly cold, revealing all its splendor,” states the cream’s notes. “The camellia is always a step ahead, working permanently to produce new stems, new branches, new leaves, and when winter comes, new flowers. Therein lies the essence of a plant that can exist and withstand time, even a long time, only by growing and regenerating itself perpetually. The plant that we too often perceive as passive and fragile owing to its fixedness, is in fact fabulously powerful,” the House continues.

Canada is known for its frigid winter temps, so this was just the place for Chanel Research to test the cream. With thirty volunteers who have dry to very dry skin with cold weather-related redness, they were all outside for one hour under 0.4°C (32.7°F) with a wind chill of -3.4°C (25.9°F). According the Chanel, redness in women was reduced by -61 percent, the skin appeared -93 percent less dry, and wrinkles are smoothed by -22 percent. By boosting the skin cell’s vitality, N°1 De Chanel Rich Revitalizing Cream is a strong choice for all skin types, especially those that struggle with dry skin.

Allure Homme, for men

Chanel’s Allure Homme line has been reimagined with the new Allure Homme and Allure Homme Sport All-Over Sprays. A product for men to use from the bathroom, to the locker room, and touch ups throughout the day. Japanese green citrus extract, an ingredient by Chanel, “keeps sensation of comfort on your skin,” shares the House.

According to notes from Chanel Beauty, “The fresh, spicy, woody scent of Allure Homme, in a fresh and hydrating fragrance body spray. Its notes include bergamot and vetiver, with warm notes of Tonka bean, cistus labdanum, and black pepper from Madagascar gives the product a trail. Its housed in a square glass bottle with a taupe inspired cylinder top.

It’s sibling, the Allure Homme Sport All-Over Spray, “is a balance between freshness and sensuality,” shares Chanel. It’s notes include Italian mandarin, cedar, Tonka bean, and white musk. Coming in a cylinder black bottle with red and white font, it’s masculine and practical to be carried in a gym bag or briefcase.

Rouge Allure Velvet

With twenty new lipstick shades, Chanel is created as they note, “a vision of a singular and plural red, one that is both bold and delicate, iconoclastic and timeless, radical and eternal. With six key shades: soft Libre (62), Abstrait (69), La Faborite (43), Rouge Charnel (56), Rouge Feu (57), and Rouge Vie (58).

With the words of Gabrielle Chanel as inspiration: “If you’re sad or heartbroken, make yourself up, dress up, add more lipstick and attack,” the House has created a formula that lasts longs and draws attention. To get this long-lasting wear lipsticks include castor oil and shea butter.

“From those shades, 14 rich color variations—meticulously crafted tones and undertones—play out like the notes of a scale, ranging from soft and delicate beige and rosewood all the way to intense crimson,” says Chanel.
