H&M’s sought-after designer collections always manage to amass quite a bit of online buzz, but the brand’s latest capsule with Mugler might just be its most-talked-about to date. After months of anticipation, social media teases, and, yes, even a celeb-packed runway launch event that attracted the likes of Pamela Anderson and Chloë Sevigny, the long-awaited Mugler H&M spring designer collection will officially be available to shop tomorrow, May 11.

The collaboration was announced earlier this spring as H&M’s next major designer capsule, and promised to provide a fusion of the French fashion label’s daring styles with a mix of the high-street store’s penchant for effortless, accessible fashion. While shoppers have only been treated to glimpses of the collection thus far, the line is already expected to sell out immediately once live — much like H&M’s past designer capsules, which have included Roberto Cavalli, Jimmy Choo, and Balmain, among others.

Founded in 1973 by the late Manfred Thierry Mugler, the Mugler brand has built a reputation for being one of the most forward-thinking labels in fashion today, with pieces that are designed to push the envelope through risqué silhouettes and edgy color palettes. More recently, the heritage brand has been embraced by celebrities in a whole new way — Dua Lipa donned one of Mugler’s sequin-covered catsuits for her Lollapalooza performance last year, while Kim Kardashian has stepped out in latex Mugler looks on a number of different occasions (including the 2019 Met Gala). The label’s signature aesthetic leans into skin-baring cutouts, moody hues, and mesh fabrics, all of which have been brought to life once again through the curation for H&M and the brand’s current creative director Casey Cadwallader.

From waist-defining hoodies and blazers to rhinestone-embellished mesh tights, leather trench coats, and a geometric peplum minidress that channels peak-’90s afterparty vibes, the Mugler H&M spring designer collection features pieces that are perfect for every type of fashion-lover, occasion, or shopping budget (FYI: prices range from $18-$749). Keep reading to see all of the styles our editors are coveting from this limited-edition line.
