It’s jewel tone season, baby! From tights and layers to makeup and accessories, shades of burgundy are all over Paris’ streets right now. Perhaps this hue’s popularity is due to its universally flattering nature. Seriously, everyone looks good in a deep wine hue.

Admittedly, this year’s denim-on-denim trend is one of the most surprising ones yet. But if Laura Dern can get on board, so can I. The actress isn’t the only one to sport this look at Paris Fashion Week; this was actually the top trend I saw most worn by men and women alike.

Belt your jackets, shoes, bags, and whatever the hell else you can wrap one around. I would say we have Prada to thank for this trend, which kicked off with its glorious top-handle bag last year.
