A jewelry and luxury fashion brand stores are opening soon at popular shopping centers in the Triangle.
Gorjana, a jewelry brand based in California, opens next month at The Streets at Southpoint mall. And North Hills has snagged another upscale label, Veronica Beard.
Here’s what to know about the new stores and when they’ll open.
Gorjana coming to Durham mall
Known for jewelry pieces that can be layered, Gorjana is opening Monday, Sept. 8 at The Streets at Southpoint.
This is Gorjana’s second North Carolina store, joining the location at Charlotte’s SouthPark mall.
Gorjana was announced as a Southpoint tenant in late 2024. It sells silver and gold earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings accented with diamonds, opals, sapphires and other gems.
The store joins jewelry brands Fink’s Jewelers, Kay Jewelers, Kendra Scott, Pandora, Swarovski, Reeds Jewelers and Zales at Southpoint.
Recent openings at the Durham mall include Aritzia, the Canadian clothing brand with two North Carolina stores, and the popular athleisure retailer Alo Yoga. Still to come is Dick’s House of Sport.
Veronica Beard is expected to open in the Main District of North Hills in early 2026.
Veronica Beard opening in Raleigh
The luxury fashion brand Veronica Beard is opening its first Triangle location in Raleigh’s North Hills.
Selling shoes, clothing and accessories, the boutique will be next to Chanel in the Main District, with an expected opening in early 2026.
“North Hills continues to attract exceptional brands, and Veronica Beard is a perfect fit for our fashion mix,” Stacey Buescher, managing director of operations for North Hills owner Kane Realty Corporation, said in a news release. “Their arrival enhances the luxury shopping experience we’ve cultivated in the Main District and reflects our commitment to bringing best-in-class retailers to Raleigh.”
The North Hills location is the brand’s second location in North Carolina, joining the store near SouthPark in Charlotte.
The brand has no stand-alone stores in the Triangle, but its products are sold by department stores, including Nordstrom.
Several new restaurants and bars, including Benchwarmers Bagels, Barking Dog and Standard Beer + Food, are planned for North Hills.
