Bobbi Brown has launched a hot new scent, and it’s going down a storm in New York. Created as an homage to the Big Apple’s coolest borough – Brooklyn – the scent is the perfect antidote to those statement fragrances that scream for attention.
Launching in simple lab packaging for a limited run, the scent is simply called BKLYN Blend No2, and it’s a reasonable price, a 30ml bottle costs just €47.
The composition of the new BKLYN sounds so clean and straightforward, it’s precisely what we imagine Katie Holmes wearing as part of her chic baggy jeans and ballet pumps New York uniform.

Having met Bobbi Brown and understanding her Jones Road aesthetic, she would create this type of scent. Her first, Shower, smells exactly as you imagine, clean, fresh, and slightly citrusy with notes of neroli, orange blossom and sea spray.
This new BKLYN is described as being cool without trying, an effortless fragrance that goes with everything, like the perfect pair of jeans. The brand says it gives the feeling of being ‘put together without feeling overdone.’ The notes in the unisex scent certainly have all the appeal of a great summer scent, it is definitely cool.

Bobbi Brown’s BKLYN has a chic NYC vibe, its notes open with refreshing and zesty lemon followed by calming and elegant lavender and neroli. The base note is sandalwood, a perfume star for the last three to four years.
Together, the fragrance has everything you’d want from a summer scent, it’s light, citrusy and doesn’t take itself too seriously, an anti-perfume perfume if you will.
