Meghan Markle Turns 43 Today, So I Found Her Beauty and Fashion Go-Tos

There’s no doubt about Meghan Markle’s influence on the modern world. From starring in Suits to launching her own lifestyle brand, she’s a multi–hyphenate. She has a chokehold on the fashion and beauty industries as well, turning heads with each handbag, lipstick, and pair of shoes she wears. So, obviously, I had to roundup the Duchess of Sussex’s top brands in honor of her 43rd birthday, which include her wedding-day nail polish, the comfy sneakers I wear like clockwork, and the denim brand celebrities love.

Markle is most often seen in sleek cap-toe Chanel flats, but even a style icon like her needs a pair of comfy kicks. Markle has been known to wear the New Balance 327 sneakers, which are also beloved by Jennifer Aniston and Katie Holmes. I even wore my own version on a 2.5-mile trek through Boston, and each step felt like I was walking on clouds thanks to the grippy sole, airy upper, and trendy design  

Tatcha the Rice Polish

Markle and I may have more in common than I thought, being that we both rely on the Tatcha Rice Polish for glowing complexions. Simply add water to the blend of Japanese rice bran and silk proteins to create a creamy concoction that delivers a soothing and luxurious skin care experience. No wonder Markle uses it!  

Cuyana Classic Easy Tote

While the price tag looks a bit daunting, I have to tell you this tote can’t be beat. Markle has been spotted carrying the brand on countless occasions, while I’ve opted for the label’s new Double Loop Satchel and Classic Easy Tote. I love both, but I recommend snagging the latter, which is very similar (if not the exact version) to the birthday girl’s bag; it’s spacious, lightweight, and looks beyond sophisticated.     

Essie Ballet Slippers Nail Polish

Essie’s Ballet Slippers Nail Polish may just be one of the most popular colors in nail history—and it’s rumored to have been worn by Markle on her wedding day. Queen Elizabeth was allegedly just as big of a fan, with A-listers like Helen Mirren giving the pretty pale pink their stamp of approval. And while I’m no celebrity, it’s even my go-to shade for all occasions.    

Mother the Hiker Hover Straight-Leg Jeans

As a native Californian, I have a soft spot for Los Angeles-based brand Mother Denim—and so does Markle. She’s worn the flattering, comfy jeans on countless occasions, making a strong case for the straight-leg styles.
