This is basically my ideal summer wardrobe: a swimsuit, oversize jean shorts for daytime, and last but not least, an effortless dress for nighttime.
It’s always a treat to see Madewell on sale during Prime Day. This dress is made from a stretchy, mid-weight denim, plus it hangs off the body to allow for total air flow. All things we love in the summer.
The Drop is Amazon’s best in-house fashion label by a mile — it’s your best bet if you want to find cute clothing without the Shopbop price tag.
Polka dots are everywhere right now, and I personally can’t get enough of them. This asymmetrical dress with ruching is the perfect balance of cute and sexy.
Another black dress that you can wear all year-round.
The sweetest drop-waist dress for summer nights and weekend trips, it’s easy to slip on and requires little to no styling.
Tying a scarf around a skirt or pair of pants is the styling hack of the summer. If you want to achieve that look without the guesswork of doing it yourself, try this Lioness dress that features a built in wrap skirt.
For more formal occasions, I have my eyes on this Ulla Johnson midi. The puff sleeves and ruched bodice are fun but not overly trendy.
I realize we have a lot of black dresses on this list but how could I not share this one with you? It’s a dream, from the relaxed fit and extra-long sleeves to the fringe hem.
I’d argue a denim dress is easier to throw on then a pair of jeans or shorts. This midi from Gap is stretchy, soft, and will still look good with your sneakers.
It’s time to give your 501s a break and embrace a baggier denim style. This pair of ’90s-inspired wide-leg jeans will still look good with all your fashion favorites.
Another wide-leg style worth saving on. These are loose throughout the leg and come in long and short options for the best fit.
Don’t be scared! Low-rise jeans aren’t so bad in the form of a straight-leg silhouette with plenty of room around the thighs.
The longer the better when it comes to jean shorts. I’d size up in these for a baggy, relaxed fit.
Everyone is obsessed with stretchy, flattering tanks that feel like butter, but if you’d rather not splurge on pricier brands, these are going viral for being just as good.
The easiest thing to throw on this summer is a big button-down shirt. Roll up your sleeves and layer it over swimwear and shorts.
Sure, I already have enough jersey tops, but at $11 (with free shipping too), one more can’t hurt.
Madewell’s stretchy tanks are worth the splurge. Luckily this time you don’t have to because they are under $25.
Kendall Jenner’s favorite Hanes tanks are also marked down.
My white tanks are in heavy rotation right now. This aquamarine one will make me feel like I’m spicing things up without changing my go-to outfit formulas.
Some of the best fashion finds on Amazon are from Le Bop, Shopbop’s in-house basics brand. This striped vest is made from stretchy, lightweight terry cloth (it’s also available in a beige colorway).
Everyone needs at least one white maxi skirt, in my opinion. This one features a high slit on one side that makes it perfect for going-out.
Another chic Le Bop find!
Between the slim cut and strategically placed stripes, this skirt will be so flattering on the body, plus it can easily be dressed up or down.
High-waisted and cheeky, these shorts are made from a breathable knit that’s nice and stretchy.
I’m hoping one of my friend’s hosts a park picnic soon, just so I can wear these bloomers (with the matching top).
Love the relaxed look of bloomers but want more coverage? Try these roomy shorts from Madewell that are mid-thigh length.
I could see Dua Lipa wearing this on vacation (which is the marker of a good swimsuit).
Montce is my go-to swimwear brand for high-waisted bikinis that have a retro flare, and it happens to be available on Amazon. The pieces are made from high-quality fabric, so you’ll be able to wear this classic bandeau top for years.
I usually wear simple swimsuits; I feel my best in solid colors and classic silhouettes. But when that gets boring, it’s nice to switch things up with some texture — this crocheted bikini with a scalloped hem is perfection.
This gingham bikini top with ruffle details is another vacation-worthy find from Solid & Striped, the matching bottoms are also marked down.
The cropped length gives this workwear piece a feminine feel. It’s also so easy to style with cropped tank or tee.
With drop-shoulders, a loose fit, and long sleeves, this ribbed knit is my ideal of the perfect oversized sweater.
Throw on this Helmut Lang jacket if you want a relaxed, sporty look.
The chocolate brown color of this faux leather bomber is rich and warm, which I love for fall. It’s available in a wide range of sizes and a variety of colors and textures.
A sleek thong sandal is probably the only fancy shoe you need this summer. With a low heel and subtle details, it’s easy to match with everything in your wardrobe.
These Reeboks are comfortable and cushioned enough to work out in but stylish enough to wear out and about.
Ballet flats are so back, and if you want a pair that’s actually comfortable, look no further than Camper. These offer plenty of support while still being cool and sleek.
There are no better flip-flops than Havaianas. They’re comfortable and can withstand almost any summer outing.
At 2.5 inches, this heel is the perfect height for a summer sandal. The pale-pistachio color is nice, too.
I actually can’t believe how cute these are, considering the fact that they are also practical, functional, and cushioned. A rare occurrence!
I love my Franco Sarto loafers, so I have my eyes on this sleek and simple pair from the brand. At overt 50 percent off, why not add to cart?
Whether you get them in black or brown, these pumps are a closet staple that you’ll be able to wear with everything.
The shape of this bag is super-chic and minimal. Plus, the olive shade is definitely something you don’t already own.
Dress up your summer outfits with a standout shade of red. It’s small but fits everything you need.
Say hello to your new favorite beach bag (that’s under $100!).
Prime Day is the best time of year to stock up on boring essentials, like socks and underwear. This three-pack is available in a variety of neutral colors and neons.
Available in 10 different colors, this is another JW Pei bag I have my eyes on.
Made from buttery soft leather, this Coach bag is sleek, timeless, and spacious inside.
These Le Specs are always a Prime Day favorite. They go with everything and the classic oval silhouette will never go out of style.
When in doubt, add an ear cuff.
Swap out your old canvas tote for this suede forrest green bag — it can hold all of your essentials and fits comfortably under the arm but it’s so much more stylish.
If you need a new pair of everyday earrings, add this under-$10 pair to your cart.
Or consider this gold-plated brass pair. They’re more expensive, sure, but they’ll last twice for years.
B-Low the Belt is one of my favorite belt brands, and it’s available on Amazon. Contemporary designs like this one will make even your laziest outfits look intentional.
The exaggerated oval shape gives these pearl earrings a modern twist.
Behold, the perfect pop of red.
Another belt for your consideration.
Whether you’re into tennis or not, you’ll get so much wear out of a black athletic dress.
Because nothing is better than lounging on the couch in an oversized fleece.
Affordable, high-quality leggings are hard to come by, but reviewers say these are thick, comfortable, and compressive.
When it’s too hot for leggings, these mid-length biker shorts are what you’ll want to wear to Pilates and other low-impact workouts.
Maidenform makes shapewear that’s ideal for summer. It’s breezy and controls without feeling too constricting.
The reviewer favorite fits seamlessly under T-shirts and is comfortable for bigger cup sizes.
Reviewers — especially those with large busts — say this strapless bra is a game changer in terms of comfort and support. It’s also seamless under clothes. “Where has this been all my life?!?” one person wrote.
As a small-chested girl, I love a barely-there bralette — this one is breathable, unlined, and supersoft. It features a hook-and-eye closure in the back, which is nice if you want to customize the fit.
Another top-rated bra on Amazon is this convertible one from Bali. The underwire provides support without sacrificing comfort, and the spacer cups are so breathable.
