A WOMAN was sexually assaulted by a man while she was shopping at a children’s toy shop.
The woman was at the Toytown store in the Cleveland Centre, Middlesbrough, when a man approximately 18-years-old sexually assaulted her on his way out of the store.
Police have released CCTV image of a man who may have information about the assault that took place at 3.30pm on December 8.
PC Carling, from Middlesbrough’s response team, said: “A number of enquiries have taken place since the sexual assault was reported to police.
“This includes obtaining CCTV footage and reviewing it in a bid to try and identify the man in the photo who could have information that could help with the investigation.
“I am asking members of the public to come forward if they know the identity of the man and for the man himself to get in touch with us.

Police described the man as around 5ft 8inchs or 5ft 9inch tall and approximately 18-years-olds.
He is said to have a slim build, black hair, and a eastern European accent.
At the time of the assault, he was wearing a black jacket, dark coloured jeans and a white t-shirt.
