Flea markets are the hot shopping spots for the summer

Long Island has no shortage of flea markets, especially during the warmer months. And you never know what treasures you might find at them. Hamptons Flea + Vintage allows shoppers the opportunity to purchase rare, vintage designer clothing and accessories, while the Hoarder’s Flea Market in Deer Park offers unique services from baked goods to haircuts. Here are five flea market, all of which feature a variety of items from jewelry to vinyl records.

Antiques at Northport

404 Fort Salonga Rd., Northport

The Northport flea market is on the grounds of the multi-dealer store Antiques at Northport. In total, the market features about 30 vendors who sell various antiques and collectibles. Shoppers can also venture into Antiques at Northport’s 8,000-square-foot store after the market, which is held on the first Sunday of the month from May through October.

Hampton Vintage

Hampton Vintage is a luxury marketplace specializing in vintage, handmade and one-of-a-kind goods. The market launched in July 2021 and is now going on its fifth season with vendors flying in from across the country to participate. There are 15 different markets this summer, in different locations including Amagansett, Bridgehampton, Mattituck, Montauk, Sag Harbor and Westhampton Beach. Items sold at the market range in price depending on quality and craftsmanship. Merchandise ranges from rare and well-preserved vintage items to meticulously handmade, one-of-a-kind collectibles.

Rosie’s Vintage Antique & Vintage Market in Huntington

More than 30 antique and vintage vendors take part in Rosie’s Vintage Antique & Vintage Market, which is located on one acre of historical property. Additionally, the Rosie’s Vintage store features a variety of pieces from more than 40 dealers, all situated in a 4,000-square-foot house dating back to the1700s. Both inside and outside, shoppers can find antique and vintage housewares, collectibles, jewelry, clothes, coins, wall decor, vinyl records, accessories, furniture, toys and more.

Hoarder’s Flea Market

At Hoarder’s Flea Market, customers will find a variety of items for sale, including antiques, collectibles, services, talents, art, secondhand goods, clothing, jewelry, local artists and shops, in addition to food trucks. Farmers selling baked goods and real estate and life insurance representatives will also be on hand. In the past, the market has had services such as a mobile barber shop.

The Huntington Flea Market

The Huntington Flea is a curated vintage and handmade market that takes place nearly every Sunday, right across from the Huntington train station. The wide variety of local vendors changes week to week, and it includes an eclectic mix of vintage clothing, antiques, records, handmade goods, jewelry, original artwork and more. There are usually 30 to 40 vendors, and one resident food truck, The Groovy Smoothie.
